We just want a clean and elegant interface, beautifully designed UI, and a pure music player.
If you are tired of the bloated modules, unsatisfactory live recommendations, and poor layout in the official client, I highly recommend you to try YesPlayerMusic, an open-source third-party player.
It is a client with multiple installation methods, including Mac, Windows, Linux, and PWA. It supports automatic switching between Light / Dark Mode and has dynamic blurred lyrics similar to Apple Music.

Login Page#
You have two login options: an account with full permissions or access to your publicly available Netease Cloud data.
YesPlayMusicpromises not to save any of your account information to the cloud.
Your password will be locally encrypted withMD5before being transmitted to the Netease CloudAPI.
YesPlayMusicis not an official Netease Cloud website, so please consider carefully before entering your account information. You can also go to the Github source code repository ofYesPlayMusicto build and use a self-hosted Netease Cloud API.
Home Page#
On the home page, you can see playlists and recommended playlists from Apple Music.
Player Page#
If I didn't say anything, some people might think this is the playback interface of Apple Music. The dynamic switching of lyrics combined with the clean page layout really impresses me.
Compared to the official client, there is no comparison at all. It only has a small lyrics interface and the well-known "Netease Cloud" module at the bottom, which lowers the overall quality.

If a song doesn't have lyrics, it will be a simpler player page. It is also very elegant to use it as a background page for full-screen playback. I usually open this software in full screen on my laptop with F11 while doing daily activities on the main monitor, occasionally glancing at the lyrics on the left side of the laptop.
Profile Page#
On the profile page, you can see the total number of "My Favorite Music" and a shortcut play button on the left, and the icons of the 12 most recently liked songs on the right.
Below are "Playlists" - "Albums" - "Artists" - "MVs". The information on this page is from your Netease Cloud Music account, but it is displayed with large icons for a more intuitive presentation. It also makes it easier for you to search. The image below shows the avatars of the artists I follow.
Discover Page#
On the "Discover" page, you can choose different styles, scenes, emotions, and themes to get recommended playlists and other information. This is exactly the same as the official Netease Cloud search bar, after all, it is a packaged official client, just with a different skin.
Search Page#
You can search for related artists, playlists, albums, and videos, and click on the icons to enter the details page. However, you cannot search for Netease Cloud Music users.
Of course, there are no fan pages, which means that all social-related parts have been removed, and it has become a pure music player.
In the artist module, it will recommend related artists who have collaborated with him/her. At the same time, you can see all the songs by the artist below, including the artist's albums and other users' created playlists related to the artist.
Music Unlocking#
It also supports UnblockNeteaseMusic. It can automatically replace grayed-out song links due to copyright issues or VIP-exclusive songs that can only be listened to for a few seconds with QQ / Kugou / Kuwo music sources (web version not supported).
This is what truly integrates all clients, eliminating the hassle of switching between different clients, and you won't miss the immersive feeling of listening to your favorite songs when they reach the climax.
